Signing a contract

We have all been there. That moment you need internet for your home, or a new cellphone and signing a contract seems like the best idea. But what is a contract and what does it mean? A contract is a binding agreement between two parties. Which is why it is imperative to read and understand a contract before signing it. Because the last thing you want is to find yourself in a position were you are not in agreement with what is on that contract. After all, once you sign there is no going back.

And from what I have seenĀ  people like to sign contracts without reading especially when dealing with banks or cellphone companies. Mainly because they assume that the contract is standard and that if everyone else does it then it must be ok. However, this is not always the case. Especially as we are all different and have different expectations and needs. Which is why it is not a good idea to to go into a bank or cellphone company and fill in forms an sign contracts without reading the contract properly first.

Especially as most contracts have fine print which you may not be happy with. Which is why its important and even your right to ask who ever you are dealing with to read and explain what is in the contract. This way you are able to make an informed decision on whether to take the loan or not. So in future when ever you need to sign a contact, make sure to read it first. There are too many cases were people do not even know what they are signing for and they end up in trouble.
