As someone who is not a big believer in diets. I usually have to turn to food to keep me feeling healthy and happy. Which is why I get excited when winter comes around as I start making some of my favorite soups. From lentil bean soup, to everything in between, soups are a great way to get full, and stay healthy. Which is why when I heard of bone broth I was intrigued and interested.
How could roasting and boiling some meat bones make you healthier? Pretty easily apparently. According to research bone broth can protect your joints, boost immune system function, help with hair and skin and help with gut health, among many other benefits. Which is why on top of making some tasty soups, I will also be making bone broth. So next time you cook a roast chicken, beef or any other meat. Instead of throwing the bones away, boil them add some seasoning and drink yourself to better health. I know I will.
