Recently I had two teeth removed, after putting it off for about a year. Which had me thinking about beautiful smiles. Especially how to maintain a beautiful smile. After all, nothing makes a bigger first impression than a persons smile. Which is why, no matter what age you are or what you look like, the smile is one of the first things I notice. However, why is it one of the last things we look after? Or am I alone here.
Anyways, after my surgery, I realized that I need to take better care of my teeth. After all, with all the crazy things you can do to your body and face, your teeth are the hardest to replace. Which is why they need all the attention and support they can get. Which is why this year I made myself a few promises regarding my teeth. One’s that are easy to follow for everyone looking to not just make a good first impression, but feel good too.
- Brush teeth twice a day. This sounds pretty obvious but we have all been there. Those days when we are too tired or too lazy to brush our teeth twice.
- Floss more: I must say that I used to hate this one the most. That is until I started to do it and saw just how much stuff gets stuck in-between my teeth. Yuck.
- Use mouth wash: I am not a fan of very minty anything, including mouth wash, but nothing makes me feel fresher than rinsing my mouth out after a day of putting in different foods and drinks.
